not bad. but it seems to me the 2006 war was against hizballah, not lebanon. yes, hizb is lebanese, but lebanon is not hizballah.

That is the most absurd comment I've had on this blog in ages, and I've had quite a few...
Hezbollah may be the only ones willing to defend Lebanon...
julius is right..
wassim, rather than just saying it's absurd, why don't you explain why you think so. unless i'm mistaken, israel mainly focused their attacks on hizballah-controlled areas of lebanon (the south, the airport, parts of west Beirut). in fact, the lebanese army did not participate in this conflict. so, if amal, the christians and the druze sat this one out, it doesn't seem accurate to cast the war as israel vs. the whole of lebanon.
