What's it that you disagree with in the above statement?
The statement is based on the premises that all the problems in the Middle East are because church and state or mosque and state are not separate. It is also based on the premise that the separation of church and state are a universal requirement for any functioning state. It also assumes that a state is the normal political unit we should divide the world into. This is an American in Syrian clothing lecturing us basically.
but the statement isn't referring to " all the problem" in the middle east , it's just referring to the " religious peace" don't u think that part of the religious conflict's solving problem is that religions should be separated from the state?
