Long lost Arabs - found!

I'm listening but I can't believe it. I wrote once about the Arabic origins of the Maltese language but I had no idea to what level it is familiar. I have managed to find a streaming television station straight from Malta and to my amazement, I find this strange language understandable! It is a strange mix of Arabic, Italian and other words....fascinating. The style of Arabic is definitely North African in it's pronunciation, but still recognisable. Malta is certainly on my to visit list for the future!
