If the Turkish president says that his country will respond "decisively", what does that mean? I'm serious. Is Turkey going to send its tanks over the border or airstrikes on Syrian army bases? And how stupid do Syrian regime officials sound when they pretend as if they represent a state with fully functioning institutions. How silly is it when Assad's supporters pretend as if the Syrian army is defending the country's sovereignty, and they never mention that the Syrian regime is still waiting for a "time and place of its choosing", to respond to Israel's bombings on Syrian soil. You want to tell me that the Syrian army remembered to defend the country now? Against Turkey?
Only the most deluded people still believe that Assad's regime is a "bastion of Arabism" and some kind of bulwark against anti-imperialism.
