Every time I hear somebody praising Saddam Hussein I feel as if I will be ill. The man was a butcher and a mass murderer, and he is as bad, if not worse, than Bashar. A little perspective, please. And when people say that Assad's regime is unmatched in the history of dictatorships, I beg to differ. The victims of Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, or Mao would probably be quite offended because Assad is still a light weight in comparison: he rarely kills more than a hundred Syrians a day.
