Somebody recently told me that it is wrong to compare the oppression of the Arab regimes with the oppression of the Palestinians. Wlaa! Oppression is oppression is oppression. I can and will draw the comparison, and it is a moral obligation to despise oppression in all its forms, and not just the colour we prefer.

of course, oppression is oppression. So, USA is wholesale supports the oppression of Palestinians, but, somehow, is against Syrian oppression. Not mentioning USA doing its own oppression in Afghanistan. Or USA supporting Bahrain and Saudi oppression, while both Bahrain and Saudi kings are SO against Syrian oppression.
Only a very naive person could believe that the oppression that USA does and support is the same as one that USA condemn.
And your point is what exactly?
My point is to use your brain when you got support form the same forces who are reason for the worst misery in the ME and beyond. Or do you disagree with all facts I cited?
For USA some oppression is OK - including Zionist oppression, and their own, of course. So, I guess there is some reason for claims that the matter is NOT the same with Syria and Palestine. I.e. Palestine is under settler colonial rule, and regularly bombed by Zionists, while I suppose in Syria it is NOT the same. If you do not agree, ask Iraqis, was it under Saddam "the same" as under USA occupation? You could find them without problem - a million of them (if I remembee it right) are still in Syria, even after USA "liberation" of Iraq.
Lidia, you're an idiot. Israel oppressing the Palestinians is exactly the same as the Syrian regime oppressing Syrians.
Profound arguments, sure, calling me names :(. Next time try to tell Iraqis that NATO occupation is "exactly the same" as Saddam rule.
What do YOU know about Zionist oppression of Palestinians? The ordinary life of Palestinians (like going to school) is turned by Zionists into endless obstacles, often not possible to overcome.
