Interesting Abdel Nasser Speech About Syria

I know that Nasser was far from perfect, but when I found this speech of his about the Syrian Baath party, I thought it was quite interesting: with hindsight, the man sounds almost prophetic today.

Anonymous said...: He's basically saying the Baath Party were phony nationalists for supporting the breakup of the United Arab Republic. That they were taking power in Syria by dividing Syrian society, through the use of sectarianism and racism; 11:57 pm
