Greek (refugee) singers of Turkish songs

The end of the Great War was followed by a short and quick war between Greece and Turkey, the result of which was the mass displacement of Turks and Muslims from either country. Greek refugee singers had an enormous influence on Greek music, bringing with them a Turkish flavour. Quite interesting and surreal to hear this music from a different world and a different time.
