Whenever I hear the word "dirty bomb" I can't help it but have a mental image of a huge bomb wrapped in pages from a smutty porno magazine or something.

The most interesting thing about dirty bombs is that it seems to be primarily an instrument of propaganda (for both sides!)...
To cite the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC):

nice one wassim.. how about a mudcake.. tightly packed dripping mud.. that'd be alright..

had a great mudfight in a spring on the banks of the dead sea on saturday.. was great fun..
