Maysaloon - ميسلون

This might seem old news for many, but it's only recently struck me how beautifully written the older Arabic songs are. You can sway your head so easily to these songs once you actually listen to what they are saying and to how harmonious the melodies are. My current favourite is Omm Kalthoum and "Aroo7 le meen?" (Who can I go to?).

PS. My Oud lessons are going quite well, today I asked my instructor to help me learn "Throw myself from under the window" as it is played under the "Bayati" maqam - which I have learned recently. As'ad if you are reading this, I'll Youtube it and send it over as soon as that happens.
