Al Jazeera is about to broadcast a documentary about Mustapha al Akkad(Arabic). I'm not just saying this because he is Syrian, but I always loved his films (not Halloween!). They weren't blockbusters or Oscar winners, but I admire what he tried to do and I absolutely love al Risala, which was an excellent portrayal of the beginning of Islam. Did I say I don't just like him because he's Syrian?

Lion of the desert and al Risala, can probably be considered among the most important arabic movies.
How was the documentary?
